BCAC Scholarships:
The Baldwin Community Arts Council recognizes talented, young students who excel in the arts. Each year, we award a $1,000 scholarship, renewable for four years.

Hali Lyons is this year's recipient of the BCAC scholarship. Lyons is a senior at Baldwin High School and plans to attend the University of Kansas, majoring in graphic design and communications. She is an accomplished artist, having designed and painted the background for last falls school play.

She says, "My entire life has always revolved around my art. Ever since I could hold a pencil, I have thought of little else, other than what I am going to create next. My hope is to continue to advance in my art and eventually acquire a job that allows me to incorporate my skills as an artist." Join us in congratulating Hali.

Attention BHS graduates: The BCAC is offering a renewable $1,000 scholarship for a graduating Senior from Baldwin High School for use at an accredited college, university or technical school for study in any area of the arts. Applications are due by April 15th.
